How do community safety alerts work?
When you ask for help, TrustFem alerts volunteer responders — verified women within a couple of kilometres. They see the area (not your exact spot) and what's happening, and can offer to call you, call the police for you, or let you know they're close. You choose if any one of them can see your exact location.
Who can be a responder?
Any member with a confirmed email whose account is at least 3 days old, who agrees to the responder promise: never put yourself in danger, never confront anyone, and never share an alert.
Can someone use this to find me?
Alerts never show your exact location to anyone unless you share it with one specific responder, and you can block anyone instantly. Nearby posts are rounded to roughly 100 metres, can be anonymous and disappear after 24 hours.
Is this an emergency service?
No. Always call your local emergency number first if you are in danger. Community alerts are extra help, not a replacement.
