Walk home, date, travel — someone will know.
Set a timer before you go. If you don't tap "I'm safe" in time, the people you trust get an urgent email with what you were doing and where you were.
Questions
How does a TrustFem safety check-in work?
You set a timer for something like walking home, a first date or a taxi ride, and write what you're doing. If you don't tap "I'm safe" before it ends, we remind you; 10 minutes later your trusted contacts get an urgent email with your note, your last location (if you shared it) and a live status page.
Is TrustFem an emergency service?
No. If you are in danger now, call your local emergency number. Check-ins are a backup so someone you trust knows when something may be wrong. Find emergency numbers for your country on our helplines page.
Who can see my location?
Only your trusted contacts, through a private link, and only while a check-in is active and you have switched location sharing on. Locations are encrypted and deleted 7 days after the check-in ends.
Do my trusted contacts need an account?
No. They just need an email address. We email them once to confirm, and after that only if you miss a check-in or press SOS.
Does it cost anything?
No. Safety check-ins are free for every woman, forever.
